So, I'm going to Animazement! *crowd roars*
My friend and I are going to have a little booth space and I've been wracking my brains on what I could offer, especially given my time constraints with cosplay and budget as well as if it didn't sell what I would do with it etc.
So, then I thought, what about badges? I can draw and color a bust piece like this in approximately 45 minutes as long as it's not too complex. I'll have to practice more on the Animal Crossing-style badges to get the style down-pat enough to crank them out faster, but I don't think it will be too hard.
I'm going to be adding more examples to have laid out before me, but most of these I'll be doing at the convention itself. I would also be totally open to drawing it before the con and you picking it up at the con but I figure chances are pretty low of that happening.
All that said, I'll probably wear my badge around the con, so if you see me out, say hi! Please take into account that if you do this I won't know who you are and none of my friends are furries so I guess don't get too crazy. I would love to talk about art and art projects and the like but let's not have a conversation about porn? I don't know why but I'm really paranoid somebody is going to ask for porn or something...
Also, if you are planning to buy something like this at a convention, please bring me a reference or at least one that you could text to me. If you're the type to buy something like this at a con, how o you usually do so?
Anyway, I was wondering about what you guys think one of these would be worth provided I give you a little sleeve to put it in?
P.S. The character in the middle doesn't belong to me, though I'm not sure if the person he belongs to would want me to link their name here.
P.S.S. Sorry about the muddiness of the final drawing. I am too lazy to re-scan that right now. I have more drawings on the same piece of paper so I'll probably just re-upload this later with more specific information.

Oh! Shit, sorry. It's cool.
Weaver's an artist who I really like the style of, where he uses colored lines instead of full color for a lot of the time... and it has a nice effect. http://tgweaver.tumblr.com/ He has a fA page, but I'm too lazy to find it.
By modeling, I mean adding shadows or edges of color to give the effect like a bas-relief - it makes things easier to see the whole form of from a distance. In a badge, it's imperative that the form be visible from a distance - why not colored shading, and leave the light parts white, to shave time off the process? I'll do some examples when next I'm near my markers...
