Okay, so these are rather crudely executed, and the pattern still needs a little tweaking, but, given that these are both the most complex leather items I’ve made yet, and they’re my first attempt at any sort of gauntlet, I’m rather pleased with them.
I’ve seen some similar clawed gauntlets at a local con that I attend, but they didn’t allow for much hand movement, were very clunky and heavy, and had no thumb claw at all, so, I designed a gauntlet that I felt was comfortable, allowed me to retain my fine motor skills and a good grip, and then stuck claws on it.
So Yeah. Claw Gauntlets. Clauntlets, perhaps. My coworker calls the Murder Gloves. Oooh, Taloned Gauntlets, that sounds good...
Edit: While I am flattered by all of the interest, at the moment, I am not able to produce these for commissions; they still need work. There are similar, (Though thankfully less clunky) versions available through many sellers, which I have looked up for you, if you can’t wait. These include, but not limited to Redfalconproducts, Twiztid Leather, White Dragon leather, Stronghold Leather, Midievalfashion, and Medieval-Armor.

Ooh, I have some claw gauntlets of a similar design and they are the beeest! Instead of a button on the wrist strap, they have an adjustable buckle, and the claws themselves don't have such a sharp curve to them. They don't have the black edging like this, though, or any really nifty design features and I really wish they did because that just looks badass!

I have looked at the others and your style seems much more interesting
i have also noticed that one of the main drawbacks to most designs is limited mobility which i prefer to have functional and decorative acessories
