I am a writer primarily and I can use a camera and take fairly decent pictures, but anything I draw takes ages. The Backstory

Adelaide was born in a very close community, surrounded by a large family of Sugarlots and Glocelots (See “Sugarlot vs. Glocelot” below). She had no brothers or sisters. She grew up and then moved into her own tree hollow where she keeps a moderate amount of books, knitting/crocheting supplies, and many comfortable arm chairs for her friends when they come to see her. She sleeps all day and is lively at night. She prides herself on living many lives through her books and her friends. She is a social animal and an intelligent wonder. She sometimes has a bad memory though, which is combated by her loving friends. She dreams of, one day, publishing one of her many unfinished manuscripts.

Sugarlot vs. Glocelot

Sugarlots are the Sugar Glider Ocelot Hybrid that is mainly Sugar Glider. Usually has rodent snout, no ocelot markings, ears are larger, and color is more bold.
Glocelots are the Sugar Glider Ocelot Hybrid that is mainly Ocelot. Usually seen in the snout, the round markings, smaller ears and more gradual coloring.
They always share the same clawed paws, long tail shape, the same round ear shape, and frame.

Known Associates

Semira is Adelaide's friend in RL. They met in high school, Adelaide originally thought that Semira was kinda weird. (After all she did kiss me the first time we met.) But the more they got to know each other the better friends they became. They are now closing in on 6 years of close friendship and Semira is one of the only people Adelaide has kept in contact with since she graduated high school. She was the one who helped Adelaide come into fruition and she is the Adelaide's connection to her fellow Colorado furries. Semira's mate Swanson is also cool. They get along too and enjoy conversations about Adelaide's second home, Salt Lake City, and the little hidden gems and hangouts in Sugarhouse.

Kensington may be one of Adelaide’s newest friends but their relationship has been like wildfire. Adelaide is one to think about her relationships before she commits, it wasn’t like that with Kensington. Their relationship was fast and dirty, emphasis on the dirty. Adelaide had been hovering between guys and gals for a while. Not really giving in much thought, just dating one or the other for a while. She met Kensi and they were such an instant hit, Addy told her so much about herself it was embarrassing. Kensi tends to bring out people’s unfiltered stories, she embraces it, so when Addy told Kensi she was bisexual she immediately knew she wanted to sleep with Addy. It was three days later she accomplished that goal. Kensi was usually a one and done type of person but in a turn of events she really came to like Adelaide (and Westminster) and they became friends. Every once in a while, at the bottom of a bottle of wine usually, they rekindle their physical relationship but it’s a rare event anymore.

Westminster has known Adelaide since they were very young. Westminster and Adelaide have always been the shy kids. But as time has gone on and Adelaide has become more outgoing, Westminster has stayed very introverted. Adelaide loves her for it and still coaxes her out when she can. Adelaide has always respected the brainy Westminster and when Westie confessed to Addy that she had no interest in any romantic relationship, Addy simply smiled and nodded, “As long as you’re still my friend, that’s just fine with me.” They’ve always been close. Westie is the closest Addy had to a sibling for many years and they still have an unspoken relationship that borders on its’ own language.

Nymeria is a loyal miniature fluffy dragon. Adelaide adopted her from a friend around the same time when she moved into her own tree. Nymeria does spit little flames at strangers but nothing harmful. It’s her bite that stings the most.
