Athough accurate I think the hand process should be better explained. I think it'll be hard for someone inexperienced to figure out finger size and positioning, like another day I saw a tutorial saying "lay down the fingers on a straight line and don't worry too much about finger length" and I was like "WTFNO unless you're trying to draw a chinese knockoff robot's hand"
That one hand squeezing a ball. The first thing that came to mind was "oppai. >D "
One thing I do have to recommend to most people is do the mitt in a rough drawing first while you're working out the skeleton of whoever you're drawing. Fingers which are way out there (like pointing with one while the others are curled inward) can be defined by themselves though.
Also important to note: Your fingers are approximately their length away from the butt of your hand. This helps you not only define a hand's size (the palm is half the size of the hand, the fingers are the other half), but their length and the curve of your finger joints where the fingers connect to the palm.
Also also, the arch of your finger's joints makes a curve which is helpful for defining the last joint of your thumb! Your thumb conveniently (when moving sideways anyway) keeps that joint on the same arch.
Also also also, if you continue the arch of your finger joints, they'll usually form a circle that skirts the butt of your hand.
