"The yellow bug is the name given to these cobbled together and oft run-down "Explorers" class ships used by many of the peculiars neo-colonial pionneers that are so-frequently nicknamed "Space Engineers" due to the many contraptions these crafts in the makeshifts spacestations they build in this second "Gold Rush" through the great asteroid belt.
A once-popular, but now oft aged and in bad conditions, the "Yellow Bugs" were one of the first generation Explorer ships with complete survival and industrial equipment suites. Coming with onboard medical stations, gravity generators as well as built-in ore refineries and components assemblers with accompanying basic conveyor systems, the Yellow bug had it all.
Now, though, as more advanced ships are developped or custom-built by corporations big and small using the advanced techniques available to all today, it is rather the affordability of the multitudes of discarded "Yellow Bugs" that draws many of these so-called "Space Engineers" to use the ship in droves. Cheap, but still sturdy and easy to maintain while coming with a full suite of applications and equipment, it is the ideal vessel for those with little ressources hoping to strike riches amongst the asteroids."
So, I've just setup a gaming group for Space Engineers( http://store.steampowered.com/app/244850 go give it a look, it's basically a VERY pretty Minecraft in space with tons of features already), so I wanted to make an announcement in regard to the first gaming session that has been scheduled this coming saturday.
And of course, the RP fag in me just wanted to write something quick in an in-character fashion.
For more about the "Space Engineers Saturdays" group, inquire here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/Sp.....neersSaturdays
The first game will be set as "Friends-only" to limit unknown griefers logging on, so if you're interested in the group and weekly server, feel free to give me a poke on Steam( I'm Ludovsky ) to add you to my friend list and invite you o the group :)
Edit: As a sidenote, this isn't my creationg. This is just the starter ship the game gives everyone who join a server ^^; )

Well, they've begun to add the unmanned cargo ship. Though admitedly that is very little since those guys only travel in a straight line with inertia dampeners off(though they -are- boobytrapped and some of them do come with turrets which as of the last patch can now shoot at any moving ships when so activated).
