Trumpkin is a Red Dwarf, born long after the death of the White Witch -- you still haven't seen "Prince Caspian" yet, have you? His "friend' Nickabrik the Black Dwarf actually pals around with a Werewolf! Unfortunately, they (the Black Dwarf and the Werewolf) were both wicked and evil, and... (spoilers end here)

It strongly reminds me of a scene form my tale 'The Hexed Wolf', where a blind she-wolf and her brother stumble into an abandoned cabin, searching for something to eat. They and their crow friend find several bowls of what seems soup (but isn't)
The cabin, of course, has an owner, a warlock, and the 'soup' eventually turns the wolves and the crow into a sort of non-anthro superheroes.
I wish I would leave laziness aside and translate the tale to English!
