Whylde Kitteh's is an open species that was made for fun in a fit of giggles, but I still love them dearly.
PROFILE:
Whylde Kitteh's
Whylde Kitteh's are a type of almost feral felines that tend to live around lakes, forest glades, and meadows. While not quite fully fearl these kitty cats often go on instinct rather than deliberation. They are feircely loyal to anyone or anything they take a liking to, they are territorial when it comes to other 'clans' of Whylde Kittehs although they will happily get along as long as it doesn't seem like the other clan is trying to get in on their territory.
They are very playful and tend to pounce friends and strangers alike just for fun, they are able to hide quite well in trees and in tall grass which is where they pounce from although this is very rarely ever in violence, more like a kitten trying to sneak up on a new friend and play. They like cuddling and lazing around in the sun or even playing in water, although to splash one unexpectely may get you clawed up quite a bit. They are easily distracted by shiny objects and tend to collect these items to turn into jewlery and they even often store the shiny things in their home much like a dragon and its horde.
They are very proud creatures especially of their long fluffy tails, they spend at least two hours a day grooming and decorating their tails and the quickest way to anger a Whylde is to mess with their tail by mussing it up or dirtying it. They recieve the bands on their tails when they reach maturity and rank within their family/clan.
While seemingly normal all the way through, they do have a few unique qualities. They are able to jump quite far and scale nearly straight flat surfaces with their abnormaly strong claws, these claws are found on both the hands and the foot paws. A sign of Whylde Kitteh habbitation is the clawing of thick trees to sharpen and clean these claws. Whylde's also have small horns which are a left over trait from times past and searve no real purpose other than something to get caught in leaves or someone elses hair. Their one interesting trait seems to be a tolernece towards any magical abilities, it tends to wash right off of them, and they can sense anyone near who can use or is using magic of any kind which is probably why their species tends to avoid getting into skuffles with dangerous magical beings.
Their coloring verries from kitteh to kitteh, from what is called Cheshrie stripes, to spots, to calico much like a normal domestic feline, although some have mixes of the marking destinctions. A normal Whylde Kitteh lifespan is 25-90 years. They tend to enjoy sweets a lot and will often pilfer your pockets if they smell sweet things, most really enjoy muffins.
Yes the profile image is for sale, please ask for information, she is an example of Cheshire type markings, there are also several adopts open in my gallery.
