No, not that kind of shag. No, not that kind either. I am trying to draw like the artist known as Shag. He doesn't do furry art, though he does occasionally paint animals with human characteristics and at least one painting he's done features a couple wearing fursuits. Heh, I drew a blank until I checked out that link. You do have it down pretty good. As for finding yer own style, that takes a lot of time mon. For me, I kept using other folks styles and never mastered them, and had quit drawing entirely for five years. One day I started doodling just line art again, just small items like swords, cars, robots, Sonic style characters, etc... I hated what I drew. So I drew what was in my mind. Eyeballs impaled on syringes, globular skylines that looked like snot, and I liked what I saw. =+O
Over time I began to incorporate other forms of art, which you can view here obviously. I'm still scrounging thru my portfolio and kinda building the path of my art type time line. I wish I would have dated my stuff even tho they were sketches or doodles. =+}
