Yes the buyer harassed me into shipping it earlier even though I told them I was not ready. I still needed to wash the feet before sending. He bought it while I was out of state and knew I would be gone for a while. I am still planning on sending the feet free of shipping charge but they are also a kids small and I really don't think will fit a 30 year old man but I will send them anyways.
You keep saying "as is" as if it's a get out of jail free card. It would be "as is" if the damage itself was listed, which it isn't. If the damage was listed and the buyer still complained about it, then they wouldn't have a leg to stand on. However in this case they do, because it was shipped improperly. The case should be best left to Paypal.

I have to clean them and send them separately.
May I see an unboxing video to prove these damages?
It was perfect when I sent it. Also you paid $70. Where you expecting a $500 fursuit? Im sorry but I cant give you a refund.
Guess its paypal time

It was NOT broken when you sent it and you paid less then $100 for it. What kind of quality were you expecting? I did not make the suit, I am not the first owner. It was in good condition when I sent it to you. That is what the inside looks like. If you wanted pictures of the inside before you bought I would have shown you? Thats what you bought though. I didnt lie. I said it was OLDER WORK.
That head was shipped to me with NO protective padding and didnt break at all, I really am skeptical about it suddenly breaking THAT much when it got to you :/ You continued to harass and rush me on shipping after I told you I was busy and trying to get everything ready for you.
Because you bought it knowing it was an old head. I packed it as best I could under the time frame YOU gave me. You can file a claim on paypal but I will fight it because I have the harassing notes rushing me to send it and showing you knew it was an old suit. I offered to give you a refund if you sent it back.
I think what OP is most upset about (at least now) is that, yes it's being sold as it, but from the picture it was not broken in the nose area. Which means it was damaged in shipping. Whether or not the seller packaged it like she should have I think it's between them to privately settle on if OP should or should not get refunded for the damages that happened through shipping. Taking into consideration the seller saying they felt rushed to ship it by the buyer (although I don't know how long they waited between OP buying it and finally receiving it to agree or disagree on the claim the buyer rushed them, or that they simply didn't properly package it).
The sleeves if they mean the leg sleeves the seller said they're not to be included so if they didn't read that correctly it's on them.

Ok, from what I can see of what I assume is an email copy/paste, there are 4 replies from Twiz, that does not constitute harassment...
and
Selling something "AS IS" means that the buyer agrees to purchase the product in the condition that it is in at the time of purchase. "AS IS" DOES NOT cover your ass if the product is broken during shipment, for any reason. If it was broken at the time money was exchanged then you are covered by the "AS IS" If however it was NOT broken at the time money was exchanged, yet was broken on receipt, by law, the seller is obligated to refund the purchase price.

Also if you see this post as an attack, you are sadly mistaken. This post is just letting people know that it was damaged while it was shipping in between. I don't see anything dissing Hot Coffee until he mentioned about going to PayPal on this after she refused to do anything about it. She is also the one that got really defensive here too.
Even if the suit was listed as old work there's no way that could have been broken with proper packing. Knowing how ups and shipping companies are with they're packaging it will be knocked around so planning ahead for this is recommended. Also when shipping this if it was severely fragile it should have been listed as fragile. Regardless this auction ended two weeks ago and the shipping was listed in the price. So paying shipping out of pocket to send it quicker is complete crap because the price is the same. Plus if this suit was planning to be sold and shipped then the packing materials should have been bought beforehand and shipped out as soon as payment was received. If the seller is seriously going to blame you for asking to ship this quicker than two weeks because they're not prepared that's total bs. I would be super furious if this happened to me. A $95 dollar refund is not terrible plus the buyer doesn't want the suit because someone was being irresponsible. It's like buying things anywhere online....if it's breaks due to poor packaging on the seller's part then it needs to be refunded. It doesn't matter if the suit was fine before it left the buyer; what matters is this was poorly planned out and responsibility needs to be taken. Period
I agree but usually with a mask like this it could've been packed in more padding to prevent the beak from knocking against the box, or pieces of foam or something somewhat sturdy to keep the shape could've been inserted in the hollow part. But I don't know too much about paper mache but i have a feeling it's fragile like glass and melts and warps pretty severely in extreme temperatures.
Again I wouldn't be as adamant about this if the packing had been better, if that was the case then there's nothing really anyone can do at that point. And again the seller said this was an old suit and the material was fragile so insurance should have been added in the cost to prevent stuff like this from happening. Most people do not know this and I understand that. But the main piece of the suit is broken, the feet and hands are still paid for and those can be used probably for anything besides the head they went with.
However the cost of the head should be refunded or at least the money used to purchase it should be used to repair it. That seems to be a fair trade but they'll have to figure that out. ^^; If he wants a full refund I think that would be fair as well considering the buyer did not get the product that was promised. Just because a seller says "as is no refund" doesn't mean he/she is void off refunding some of the buyer's money, doesn't have to be all of it. But this is also between the buyer and seller. Whatever the outcome either result will not have a good impact in all honesty.
