http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2986878/ supposed to be this O.o but its all flat
You said it yourself. It's an old 4 year old head. In the matter of 4 years it has gotten more fragile. Also, once again, you said $200 = Autobuy. That's way more than 100$ for a fursuit head. Maybe when you set autobuy so high, they are expecting a bit of a higher quality. Also, I loved the false advertising on the feet. You never specified what size they were until he asked you yesterday about them and you said they were KIDS size. Great job ripping people off. You seem to be a natural at it.
THE FEET WERE FREE. I was going to throw them in. How is that false advertising? $200 autobuy I paid $350 for it.
Actually he NEVER once asked about the feet. I think he should have asked if he wanted to know the size. In the pictures you can see I am not a huge man and the feet are fit to me.
We already settled this so please stop starting more drama like your Twizler_skunk already has.

Just as like, a heads up. An "As is" warning is not automatic protection from shipping damage.
I help run a small business, and we sell primarily china and glassware. As sellers, it is our responsibility to make sure items are packed securely and have insurance. If something breaks during shipping. We make right by the customer and either refund or replace the damaged goods. Then collect the insurance from the post office, seeing that it was their shipping that broke the item.
If a seller does not secure an item properly for shipping and doesn't get it insurance, it is on the fault of the seller. Not the buyer.
"As is" only refers to how the item was At Purchase, and it never never ever covers shipping damage.

Even if the suit was listed as old work there's no way that could have been broken with proper packing. Knowing how ups and shipping companies are with they're packaging it will be knocked around so planning ahead for this is recommended. Especially if the suit is old. Also when shipping this if it was severely fragile it should have been listed as fragile. Regardless this auction ended two weeks ago and the shipping was listed in the price. So paying shipping out of pocket to send it quicker is complete crap because the price is the same. Plus if this suit was planning to be sold and shipped then the packing materials should have been bought beforehand and shipped out as soon as payment was received. If the seller is seriously going to blame the buyer for asking to ship this quicker than two weeks because they're not prepared that's total bs. I would be super furious if this happened to me. A $95 dollar refund is not terrible plus the buyer doesn't want the suit because someone was being irresponsible. It's like buying things anywhere online....if it's breaks due to poor packaging on the seller's part then it needs to be refunded. It doesn't matter if the suit was fine before it left the buyer; what matters is this was poorly planned out and responsibility needs to be taken. Period
It is the seller's responsibility to make sure an item is wrapped securely and insured. Blaming the post only goes so far. Yes, it was wrecked in shipping. But Hotcoffee did not insure it and that is on them, not the buyer.
Always insure everything sent out by mail. I've sent out 800 dollars worth of teacups in one box, and the insurance was only 12 dollars, anything under 50, and sometimes 100 gets insured for free. The post office can't do anything since the package wasn't insured. So, yes this needs to come back to the seller.

Clearly you don't know the responsibilities of the seller. It is always the sellers responsibility to insure safe shipping which includes getting insurance. But who am I to say anything who's been in business for years. /sarcasm
Obviously you refuse to be wrong because you Must, for some reason defend someone in the wrong. Talking to you further is pointless. Have a good day.

I work for a international company that ships items that are worth $400-$5,000 usd everyday, where we are required to ask if a customer wants insurance on a shipment or not. If they decline, we are not responsible, the shipping company (ie: usps, fedex, ups) is responsible to refund the customer for damage goods.
We cannot force a customer to pay extra for shipping insurance, since it is extra money for them to spend.
