A quick ref until i have done a better one for this guy.
Info:
The creator is an unknown one who lives all on its own away from other living things or at least stays away from most of them. It have lover for a very long time and it’s unsure if it’s even alive or an undead being. Created to serve and protect magical item is what it knows, is all it knows but beware, it’s not a foal when having to fight an intruder in order to win a battle. To fight two or more may result in not having time to figure out its next move when more attacks.
To fail protecting something it have and lose it is one thing it really does not like at all. While it knows nothing about feeling, friendship, love, or hate. It will still react like it have them sometimes, even if it holds the tail between its hind legs it knows nothing of what fear is. The only feeling it really seems to know is the sadness when it has failed to protect and shine with pride when it succeeds with its task, holding its head high.
It can only act like it really would have feelings but it will never get what they really mean as it continues on with its life. If you do plan to steel from it make sure you have another magical item along with you to replace the one you takes from it. As long as it have one single magical item along its side or nesting ground its happy being left alone.
Size: Taller than a horse when standing on all paws, and longer than a snake (anaconda)
Species: Unknown (might be a mix of different animal species)
Aka: The creator (might not even have a name at all, or it’s long lost)
Age: Over 50, 100 or even more since its owners are long gone or even dead.
Seems to have been taken for a dragon monster once, this is wrong since it have nothing with dragons to do at all, but monster? Well... I can’t say that’s wrong since others might look at it and think the same way about it and I can easy see why.

I'll start off with points I'm not so sure about and finish with good points ^^
I love the shape of that head, but I'll be honest. I'm a little confused about the teeth(?) I can't really tell by looking if that's just the shape of the mouth or if they're teeth.
Perhaps adding either a flat or rounded line (flat for inside the mouth, rounded for outside the mouth) will give em a little depth.
But if that's just the way his mouth is shaped then ignore this point ^^;
The body looks nice, I can't fault it but just as a suggestion (its up to you) perhaps a slightly deeper chest might work nicely? (: if he's skinny then a deeper chest might help to show this off.
Kind of like what you done on the image lower down with the foreshortening.
And now good points ^^
I LOVE the legs! the anatomy on the legs looks really nice!
The eyes are also a nice shape, the fact they face forward rather than to the side kind of suggests to me that this guy is a predator ^__^
The fluffy furnishings on the legs and chest is a nice touch, and I like that it's all scruffy and "big bad wolf" style, it really shows his attitude :D
The overall shape of the body looks nice... as I said, perhaps a deeper chest might help to show off he's a slim dragon but overall it looks nice, he's got a nice slim neck but still enough muscle to hold his head up and a nice strong looking tail.
And the shoulders <3 the shoulders look lovely!

Head: It never closes its jaws fully unless it’s trying to grab something or someone with them. The lower jaw might possibility be thinner/slimmer that the upper jaw to not to smash together in a bad way and hurt itself. Lower jaw is mostly bone, the upper jaw I’m not sure. Maybe I will figure it out the day I find some nice colors to add to it, showing just how old and grey it really is.

Harsh? Naw, I never get anything mostly.
The only reason I got some critique here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13416680/ is because I asked trying to make it clear that I wanted help. I have updated this one with a darker bg and will try and figure out what more to do as I work on shade/light.
