A Rustic Forest God or Goddess, with the appearance of being Half- human and Half-Goat, a manifestation of forest and animal spirits that would either help or hinder humans. The Faun shows the Upper body being human, while the lower half showing animal hind-quarters, along with a pair of horns and pointed, elf-like ears. Often, they are seen carrying a flute or any musical air instrument.
The Appearance of a Faun can differ, taking on other appearances besides the standard Half-goat, such as horses, deer, elk, and other hooved animals. Sometimes, in rare cases, can also take on other animal-like forms, like canines, birds, and even fish, which in the Half-fish case they are sometimes mistaken as Mermaids'. Fauns are seen as foolish and child-like, being more playful then most beasts. Males are called Fauns while the Females are called Faunas
