"We do not look for fights. It's not in our nature - like it or not, we're a prey species, and in ancient history were ill-equipped to do much in the face of adversity but run away very fast. But we are intelligent and have learned how to defend ourselves and our children, and do not think for a moment that just because we are not aggressive that we will not stand up to fight for what we believe in, and to protect what is valuable to us. Even an unarmed civilian will stand firm and fight a larger predator to the death if their children are in danger and their actions can help them survive."
(I rewrote the Balloh sheet's description to be about their physical characteristics and less repeated info from old pictures; if you read it already, you can go back and check again if you're interested)
I needed a Malgraan sheet too, of course, what with them being the main race of the setting and all. Not in numbers - the Kamari outnumber them by far - but in terms of focus; the player's character is canonically a Malgraan, as are most of the cast.
They aren't pure, 100% quadrupeds, as they have opposable thumbs and can stand (but not walk) on two legs, but they are most comfortable on all fours and spend most of their time in that stance.
The Malgraan are quadrupedal mammals from the planet Malgaria, a terrestrial planet comprised of a single supercontinent with a variety of climates. They were pack animals even before they ascended to sentience, and while there were different breeds for some time, the traits of the arctic Malgraan - notably, their white fur - have won over other traits during millenia and produced the single breed they have now.
The Malgraan usually don't keep their fur white, however, and dye it with a special water-soluble dye that can be applied simply by taking a bath. It soaks into the roots of their fur, so they don't have to re-apply it for weeks. As such, a flat color is by far the most common style of dye, but those who are willing to put in extra effort can use brushes of various sizes to add detail and patterns.
The Malgraan are also herbivores, and cannot eat meat - as such, they only have flat teeth for grinding. They can eat a lot of different plant material, including roots, bark, vines and other tough things, but are also able to consume certain non-meat products such as eggs and honey. Milk is possible as well, but there are no creatures on Malgaria that produce it in notable quantities, so it is something of a delicacy if anything.
The males have a mane of fur that starts to grow in during childhood, but reaches full length when they come of age. Females have no mane, making them easily distinguished from the males. Additionally, the females' ears have a slight forward curve to them, and they tend to be a little slimmer.
They are quite adaptable, and will often shed or grow in extra fur if they move to a different climate - or another planet, for that matter. They tend to wear little clothing for adornment, mostly sticking to jewelry, but do universally wear one common item of clothing, a form of loincloth with a section both in front of and behind the legs. Don't let the name fool you; they are not rags or tatters, but rather they are very well-made from sturdy, heavy and high-quality materials. They are held on by a belt-like loop that goes underneath the tail, and the cloth can come in a variety of styles, materials, and patterns.
They also commonly wear a 'sidespack' - like a backpack, but with the pouches on the sides; somewhat like saddlebags but without any intention for being ridden - for carrying things around, be it equipment, groceries, or curious children who can poke their heads out to look around while their parent carries them. They do carry their young by the scruffs of their necks (as seen in the picture) but as the Malgraan do tend to bear litters of 1-4 pups, they can't all be carried like this.
Their back feet have pads, but their front 'feet' are actually hands, with an opposable thumb, as seen in the top left. Their short claws are only good for scratching, originally for clawing bark off trees (or climbing up them). They do, however, have a single pad on their hands, but only on the palm.
They have slightly long ears to hear predators coming, and a good sense of smell. They are very emotional with their tails and use them to communicate mood subconsciously - wagging for happiness, fluffing up when scared, held straight when alert, curled down when sad or ashamed, and so on.
Their eyes can come in just about any color, and are not genetic, as far as they have been able to tell.
Malgraan race and setting is mine.

I have no idea of the exact count. Most of their military forces are concentrated at the homeworld. They have satellites and orbital defense platforms, the whole deal.
The other worlds are less well-protected but are also very sparsely populated and don't require the same level of protection. They also rely on sub-orbital ships to rapidly travel to incidents on the planet's surface, in contrast to the homeworld, which has a large number of permanent defenses in orbit.
I'm not well-versed enough with military statistics to be able to give an accurate estimate. Any number I provide would be pulled out of the air and almost certainly wildly inaccurate.
