NEVER FEAR FAILURE
embrace failure, because failing gives you 2 things:
1) Statistics. If you only get to succeed 1 out of 5 times, every failure i actually bringing you closer to success. Because after the 3rd failure, you are more likely to succeed than TO fail, statistically! If you fail above 5 times, you are actually going to have at least a string of 2 successes in a row. So don't fear it- embrace it!
2) Correction. Sometimes, the answer is RIGHT in front of you. But when you focus on the bullzeye all the time, too often you don't hit it. Having someone to bounce the idea off can actually BRING you a lot more success- they will weed out things that are not working, LONG before the actual debut. Which would you rather have, a glaring issue which you can fix, with only 3 people knowing you made it? Of a glaring issue at premier- with about 200 people seeing it?
I love mistakes, because after i make one and get my revisions- I know EXACTLY how to do it without fault. And then, I can also apply said lesson to future projects, never to make said error again.
I say, pitch this bad boy- get in all nitty gritty and you might surprise yourself how much better you solve any problems you encounter. You'll come up with something even MORE stupendous than before!
Remember Wayne Gretzky's best advice: You will miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
Shot for it, man. You might actually score!
