I FREAKING LOVE this character.
I'll admit, I'm a little biased.

For one, I think the reference I was drawing her from is one of Fayleh's drawings (and I adore her work) but also because she is part female mantis (I thought that tail shape looked familiar!)
I've owned two mantids now, one nymph who mis-molted and a much bigger adult mantis who is named MUTO, after the new antagonist monsters for Godzilla.
MUTO has a habit of flying around the room in weird corkscrew patterns and biting fingers to let you know he's hungry. He's super adorable, and mantids are really great pets if you are cool with bugs.
