"I've had my apprehensions about this whole thing, but I feel like it can lead to something much better than here." Her father said. Neha sat in the chair, hanging her head low.
"But...I'm scared, father! How many times do I have to say that?" She exclaimed, her heart racing. The platinum-haired tiger sad beside his daughter, pulling her into a hug.
"I know, I would never, ever, put you in danger." He said, his voice surprisingly tender. "But I don't want you stay here while the Hierarchy crumbles and starts rounding up anyone who so much as bats an eye at them." He pulled away from her, brushing away her white hair. His face was sober, like he knew he was as trapped as her. In the other room, her mother was in contact with the human embassy, asking for her daughter's asylum on Earth. She, like many others recently, were traveling to the human world fearing a collapse.
Neha didn't have the strength to speak, she was instead transfixed by her father's gaze, his dull amber eyes beguiling his fear. He placed his hand on hers, clasping it gently. "We'll be there with you very soon. Strong like mountain..."
"...Quick like the wind." Neha finished. Her father's face and body faded away before her, and she was enveloped in a darkness that seemed to suffocate her.
Neha peeled her eyes open, feeling a cold sweat on her neck.
This was borne out of an RP a friend and I were doing. The white tigress is named Neha, and she's an exchange student that recently emigrated to Earth.
Enjoy.
