Here a list of ways I think writers and artists (and capella bands, intrepretive dancers, poets, audio play markers, lego using taxidermists or whatever) can fund themselves. I am also considering them for myself.

I am almost 100% certain that any funding scheme dependent on a few rich "whales" will turn out worst for everyone.

In case anyone is reading anything into this I must say that I have no finiancal problems now nor in the foreeeable future and any money I earned would likely not lead to more spending (except on KIVA loans if it makes you feel better). Another reason for this is that I do not want to undercut people that would need the money for food, rent and medical bills (for those in 5th world countries where those are a thing). The money is more of a way for me to be honor-bound to actually get some work done.
