This was a slightly complicated ice cream. It wasn't as simple as throwing some ingredients into the ice cream maker and flipping the switch. I had to make a custard and a raspberry sauce, just to name a couple of steps. Still, it was worth the extra effort. This ice cream is really rich, sweet and slightly tangy.
