We've had that kind of storms here before too.
*Me riding my bicycle* "... There is a wall of rain ahead. I'm gunna get wet!"
While maybe not this bad, we do say "If you don't like the weather, wait fifteen minutes." Particularly this time of year (in the fall). I need a medium jacket in the morning, and I'm wearing T-shirts on the way home from work.
