Logically, I don't see much a need for them.
I figure pads are for traction and distributing weight, thus they'd be useless on hands and most plantigrade anthros I've seen wear shoes.
If I were drawn with digitigrade feet I'd want pads on them, but they would still be unnecessary on my hands. :3

well you don't see the paw pads on fennec foxes as their fur covers them. This covering insulates their paws from the dessert sand. Rabbits don't have them common complaint it seems when drawing anthro rabbits. Never seen them much for distributing weight.
