I bheat the game last night. That's not as strange as that in the credits of the came, Birdo were originally called Ostro.

Then again, the entire game was something different altogether and they just Slapped mario characters over the original ones, and some of the characters just magically foung their way into Mario Continuity.

Actually, Birdo and Ostro (the ostrich thing that some enemies ride around on) had their names mixed up in the credits. Beat it again and look for the little ostrich fella. You'll see. ;)

Yeah, the japanese fufufufufu'd at us for being dumb and said "you can not possibly enjoy the supreme challenge that is the TRUE SMB2. So we give you Doki Doki Panic with Mario characters." Then of course, they gave it to us as "the lost levels" in the SNES 4-(or 5, if you got the one with SMW on it too)-in-1 cartridge that was packaged with some systems. And I fucking love Shy Guys in general They're like tiny adorably clutzy Hexadecimals, but less creepy and stuff. :3
