Bestiary artwork for Endless Realms, a D&D-like "pen and paper" fantasy RPG I'm working for.
Heh, I like these guys, all weirdly proportioned and their inherent scheming expression ;P I imagine Krull think they're a lot smarter than they actually are, and compensate by bullying the peaceful Grom into servitude.

*nods* Yeah, I know. Most names of things are names of other things, or mean things in other languages, and so on and so forth (Conan O'Brien's "Team Coco" apparently means something like "Team Vagina" in one language, but unfortunately I can't remember which, which was emailed to them and mentioned on the show - regardless, they're still calling themselves Team Coco. Then there are accidentally unfortunate character names from Japanese video games, like Poo and Butz.). It's hard to avoid sometimes, unless you name everything Lovecraftian gibberish. I suggested some other names, but "krull" was favourite.
Personally, the name makes me think of kruller. Make me your delicious pastries, krull!
