Plushiedudes are always nice in my book. Shiny got a Plushie form as one of his staples thanks to a friendly toymancing Fox he met and is always happy to plump up in that shape to be extra soft and cuddly for his dudes. ^_^
Kir looks very nice. Your dude did a nice job on the ref sheet. Would be happy to hear more info on your fursona. Or is he a mascot to you? I learned the difference between the two. ;3

I haven't developed him all that much. I've used him in some artwork before, but not much other than that. He's been plush, inflatable, and flesh and blood in different situations.

I've had multiple characters, but I suppose there isn't really one that I identify with the most. A lot of the time I consider myself fursona-less. That is to say, I don't really use them to represent myself.

Yeah, that's what having a persona or in this case fursona is about. It represents yourself. That is also why I call Shiny my beloved mascot nowadays. We have some things in common like being optimistic, enjoying music and cute things but personally, I'm not small and cute nor as special as the lil guy. I usually tend to call myself a Slowpoke who's a Totodile addict because I take so long for doing stuff. Might possibly even ask somebody to help me with a reference for an actual Pokésona character for myself that is actually a Slowpoke at some point. <X3

But even then, my biggest love always belongs to Shiny because I love adding to his character, making him more and more recognizable and giving myself and others a bright smile through the happy and silly fun adventures I think of for him. He's a bit like my source of happiness, my child at heart and he's so precious to me that it makes me feel good when I see him in lucky situations. ^_^

And I think that's what makes it not really important if you have a sona or a mascot. As long as that your characters make you happy it's all wonderful. Can't change the fact though that I always crave to listening to some characters' backgrounds, joys and so on because just based on the things in your gallery it's interesting to imagine what sort of personality Kir might be and what would he be like for me lil Dile Shiny. =3

I'd say that my greatest love of all is Gabumon. It's been so long since I watched the show, I can't trust my memory of him. But I always think of his personality as being rather quiet and timid especially when without his fur coat. I also think of him as being tender and sweet, and faithful to his friends. I know that that is relatively accurate.

Regardless, it's his appearance as well. I just think he's beautiful.

I'm afraid that none of the characters I have conceived over the years have managed to par with Gabumon. Although I do have one character who has been brought to life in the form of a giant plushie, towards whom I am quite attracted. It would be difficult for me to keep forming such an attachment to something so tangible. Of course, he was created in my mind long before I even found myself in the fandom as well. Something I imagined and desired from a very young age. Even before Gabumon came along.

Gabumon however, manages to keep my admiration even though I do not have him in a tangible manner. That will be changing soon though...

Hehe, yeah, Gabumon was a friendly and at times cute Dino-Wolf-Digimon. I found that mix always so interesting because Tsunomon nor his other Digivolutions have anything of his hidden Scalie sides included but from his Champion Level onward he got fully the Wolf.
Ah, I'm sure it would be cute for lil Shiny to wear a Gabumon coat-like costume. Gotta add that to my huge list of ideas. =D

I got a local friend who is all over Dragons. She also sews them herself. Made for example a lifesize Guilmon once.

Oh, you'll get a Gabumon plushie then, I guess? Cools! I do have just one Digimon plush which is pretty tiny. Maybe four inches. It's a Guilmon one I got when I was all over "Digimon Tamers" again. Bandai had a really sweet teddy sized one that was made of a very shiny plush material I sadly couldn't get at that time then. But I've definitely have seen some Digimon plushies at conventions like gamescom before. They had a bunch of Agumon plushies at one stand and I found those also pretty cool though nowadays since I collected a lot of Totodile related stuff I don't have enough space to get other plushies really. I know loads of characters from games and anime that I find very charming and adorable. =3

Yup, that's the one. He was my first custom plushie and I've had him for about four years now.

I had a big, custom Gabumon plushie, but I sold him to a friend when I moved out, since I had less space for plushies.

This time, I'm getting a Gabumon plush suit! He'll be even better than a regular plushie! I'll probably wear him a few times, but I'd rather someone else wear him so that I can get some more interactive Gabumon cuddles!

Indeed, Kir is my most common choice for things involving Gabumon.

If you by any means ever consider making a Gabumon mascot for yourself I'd definitely be happy to let lil Shiny and him hang out together. I'm sure even if it's not the actual toys, RP-wise I'm sure Shiny would love to play around with Kir and his cool toys. =3

Ah, I didn't mean like RPing in the sense of chatting but maybe you would find fun in doing joint commissions at some point, maybe. It's always fun to share something cute with others so if you in any way have any plans to commission somebody for anything adorable maybe it could be a sweet one to share and do together.

I haven't really commissioned artwork in a while. I'm trying to spend my money on more worthwhile things these days. I have many hobbies that are always in need of financial support.

Ah, yes, I can guess that your Gabumon plush suit must have cost quite a lot. You have inflatables and an inflatable suit as well. And I am sure you have a lot of other hobbies aside of your toy collection. =3

The suit cost more than my brother's car. It's a used car, but still! lol

And yes, I do spend a lot on toys as well as other things. Tools, parts, and old electronic equipment.

Hehe, yeah, that I also expected. I mean those custom toys all go for over 1k at least. But you got a strong passion for them so I see nothing wrong in that investion. Personally, I'm very anxious. Even with a costume I made myself that isn't very pricey compared to any regular fursuit you see here I am always a bit nervous about possibly ruining it. Not sure if I ever could spend thousands on anything without getting all overwhelmed by the responsibility. ^^'

That's definitely a way to keep things in shape and have more control over them. Iw wish you that you'll have a lot of times having fun using your suit alone as well as with visitors. =3
