I like to think of the one facing the rear as just a base to staple the spine, but I'm thinking of adding a different function to it, or just having it house some form of CPU.
As for anatomically correct, I don't exactly know what you're speaking of. If it has a lewd connotation, I never gave it any thought, so it's up in the air.
