I've always written my characters as if they are self-aware of their existence as cartoon characters, and that they "know" they're being exhibited in online galleries. In my VCL gallery is a readme file that also mentions that the characters are capable of "seeing" comments about their pictures. Well, here is the first manifestation of that statement.
Here, Tina expresses her appreciation for the positive comments recieved on the "mudwalk" series of pictures, and notes what appears to be a request for a different way of going about such adventures. Now she's soliciting encouragement to go ahead do another 'walk, this time losing her shoes (note the open-heeled clogs) and having to continue on barefoot.
So, let her know how much you want it :D
Technical: Pencils inked with Micron pens, cleaned up and digitally colored in Micrografx Picture Publisher 8. For this little comic, I intentionally left in the irregular panel borders from the original sketch to highlight the quickly-dashed-off nature of this impromptu comic. No artistic innovations this time--I was going purely for speed (which there wasn't a whole lot of as this represents about four days worth of work)
(Edit: Obviously I went ahead and did it--Convenient nav links below:)
