Despite being several hundreds of years old, Madoka cant help but act almost childlike. She can always act her age, but acting this way has been her way of life for a very long time.
So even when upset, Madoka cant help but fall to the floor and pout till she gets her way, no matter the age she makes herself look.
How dare someone tell her she cant have her favorite flavor of mochi?!
