Well... I donno about "dead on". I think you made him a little more pudgy than he is in the commercials. Very lanky and thin fellow. Still, it's fun to see people drawing these "every day" toons we see in commercials.

You're right... by "dead-on", I certainly didn't mean I was on-model, far from it, but I got the Aldified look I wanted to get!

Great fun character though... and you have captured a lotta the nice elements in the poise and the face, where a great deal of the expression is... Very Good! ^V^
Did ya know there's yet *another* commercial out there, similar outdoor picnic situation, but these (in our area) come on late at night on obscure channels and always catch me off guard!

Thank you C-Eagle! My fav commercial (which I can't locate at the moment) is the one where he's in the kitchen turning down something from a woman, telling her "Nah, those go straight to my thighs.* I can't remember what it is she offered him, but she mumbles jealously "whatever".

That really IS probably the best one for the full body animation!! I like the expressions in the picnic-table ones a smidge better, but having that full body animation really gives it a few extra notches of credit, yep!
The other one with the full body stuff is so blurry unfortunately... hopefully someone will find a pristine copy someday :}

It's not blurriness, it's what the people at Antiques Roadshow call patina!

Never really tried the pickles but I liked the Character and You really nailed it on the head on what he would look like with a little pudge there to.^^
