okay so now the fun properly starts. This seemed like a good page to end the year on. I cant believe this time last year Shine didn't even exist (well it kinda did as a concept in my head but not as a physical entity). So last page I changed up the text/speech bubbbles and a few people were having trouble reading them. this time round ive left out the white outline on the text lemme know if thats any better as obviously if the new text is causing issue with some peoples ability to read the comic, it kinda makes the whole thing futile

im really sorry *hugs* ill let you know when you should probably stop reading this comic if you dont want to see any spanking and bondagey stuff cause...welll..I did say at the very beginning of the comic that it was going to be containing adult material at various points which is why its on this account and not my cute happy fluffy account :D
She has been awesome with keeping people informed with what to expect as far as content goes. She even said that Star is her "adult" side - so you should probably always scan for adult material you may not like before diving fully into the comic.

As to your question... Lots of strong opacity in the bubbles does make the comic significantly change from the pallet of colors you're working with in the base imagery (earthy army scenes, occassional bright panels, with some neon-ish highlights). These colors give the comic a more bubblegum cartoon teenage feel, if that makes any sense. It's just a change in look-and-feel, not necessarily a bad thing. I could see it making the whole thing more cub-ish, in a way.
How sweet of Manda to be so open and honest with Star also I hope Star didn't forget Lure's pacifier
Now on to the art;
I love the new style of dialogue boxing that is pretty good keeps the pages bright and really keeps us knowing who said what.
I like how this page was done with many angles it shows you tried to give us new perspective with each panel as a dynamic view of the moments to come like an action scene in a movie right before the climax.

Very cute! For whatever reason, the color difference in "No worries Star." between the "." caught my attention as well as the following "'" in "It'll be nice"

Theyre flat mates and yes friends but they dont delve into each others lives that deeply, theyve known each other long enough to know they can do stuff without each other, without feeling threatened. if anything I'd say thats healthier but maybe thats a british thing?
