it shows how the FA community transforms over time. as you can see we delete less and less of our submissions upload more porn and how much tissues we buy

Well the pixel count for this image (the resolution being 1200x12895) you get 15,474,000 pixels which is about the number of submissions since FA's founding.

You know, I'm still curious about that big white streak that's been towards the top ever since you started doing those. Is that just random coincidence, or did they change the rules in a way that caused a ton of images to have to come down, or what?

I'm very curious myself. I would assume it's a streak of fear deletes.
"Ohhh my god I cannot be apart of this because -blank- administrator did -blank-" kind of bullshit. Or when IMVU happened a TON of people dipped out.
Also I have to agree with spinwin. This is kind of amazing to see.

actually I think my first theory was wrong. I looked at the other ones. It looks more like everyone posts TONS of stuff at the end of the year and deletes a bunch of stuff at the beginning. Basically spring cleaning ya know? :)

If I recall correctly the big white streak at the top was due to a rule change on cubs in mature situations. It's been so long ago that I might be mistaken about the actual rule changed that lead to this, but I'm pretty certain it was due to that.

I'm not sure, it's there in the first version of this from 2009, and I thought the cub ban came in like 2012 or so. Maybe I'm just remembering it wrong, because that does sound pretty reasonable.

I wonder what a 2021 version of this would look like.
Probably increasingly white toward the bottom due to all the adoptables, auctions, YCHes, other sales, and endless reminders for said adoptables, auctions, YCHes and other sales.
