I feel like I lose a bit of what I put into a drawing when I color it digitally. :/
Any traditional artist figure out how to make it...work?
Was sketching, so I decided to try and refine the anthro moat better.
hmm, I still like the hand drawn better though.

If you're using the tablet, it always helped me out to turn off the pen pressure sensitivity on most of the primary lineart. You only really need it for when you're doing things like tapering off ends to tufts of hair or fur. It's also a big help for me to do a lot of light strokes as opposed to trying to do one big sweep, even on curves. You can always erase the extra lines as you go.
If you're just going with the mouse and keyboard, just hold shift and click to draw your lineart. It might look a little rocky unless you zoom in real deep and work on a smaller scale. That's how I did a lot of my older material, and it seemed to work out pretty good.
Anything else you'd like to ask about?

I use a tablet so I will have to try that. How do you make the art more professional(crisp?) looking, I feel like mine looks kinda on the sloppy side.
also, I did this with the SAI linework tool (only no handdrawn sketch)> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7657209/ and it looks fine, but when it's an actual drawing from hand to tablet it seems more or less harder to make it look right, maybe it's just me needing more practice though?
Thank you loads for advie by the way. ^^

I've never actually used SAI myself. Seems to be a really cool tool to have, especially for lineart.
Anyways, a lot of it comes down to that you'll just need to take your time with drawing out the lines. Choose smaller pixel counts if you feel like it would be helpful. I always go with somewhere between 2px and 5px depending on what I'm trying to accomplish. Sometimes I use 1px for minute details like muscles, folds, and things like that. More strokes means you might be a little less accurate in the immediate viewpoint, but it will be easy for you to fix if you keep up with yourself. Even though it takes a little more time to do, I think you'll be more pleased with the results. Don't worry if it seems like there's more open space inside your lineart digitally. This is usually because you're working with thicker media in the real world and because you draw over your lines a lot more than you might notice.
And no problem! Always glad to lend a hand. :D
