the soot blows, harsh and hot
in my face down my throat in my eyes

and i realize....they are not coming from the unseen darkness
from the beasts that lie in the shadow

the cries rip from my throat
as i slam my claws into the wall, hitting only hard rock, feeling the blood flowing freely from newly opened wounds
i raise my claw to my mouth
savor it...ohhhh, the warm wetness the lovely mettalic taste the fire the heat the fire...
i throw my head back
and peals of laughter ring through the emptyness
TORMENTED!!!
REJECTED!!!
MONSTER!!!!
