Second entry for 
's draw-to-adopt scarftail.
For anyone curious, this was inspired by the little background story nonoel gave as an idea/prompt for anyone that wanted to use it:
"this one in particular has no writing on them because they were born of the "breath of a meadow", which is what's said to occur after a large piece of land is destroyed due to natural disasters, and the plant life is irreparably lost. each dot on their tail can trigger a small memory when touched."
Another thing she'd mentioned was the following:
"scarftails' purpose is to continue where their primal ancestors left off, guiding souls -- both living and dead -- in their area to their points of destination. forever lost souls, those who are in limbo or purgatory, are collected into the soul mineral of the scarftail to strengthen them, effectively lengthening their tail just a little bit."
So yeah...between that and feeling inspired by the "breath of a meadow" story, that's how this drawing came to be. ;~;
I would say more, but holy frick I'm just too tired... Been up all night, so I'm pretty spent. I really, REALLY love how this turned out, though! First time trying one of these kinds of pictures in ages (where everything fits together inside a shape of some sort), and just... eee I loved drawing this little baby SO much! ♥
