Yah, needed to vent, and something like this has been on my mind for a while. Gonna try different stylizations when I do these from now on. this one was done taking referencing from Joe Madureira and Warhammer 40K

There was a time that Armadillos were considered a scourge; their natural armor making them stubborn opponents, and their ability to dig giving them access to some of the strongest materials of the world. Greed, fear, and jealousy brought the world against them, driving them nearly to extinction.
Banished from the Order, after losing his back armor plates, this knight found himself wandering alone for what felt like ages, fearful to remove his armor, while his natural plating recovered. But when he tried to return, he found his homeland in ruins. Now he continues his wandering, appearing as somewhat of a legend and a relic from a now defunct empire.
His blade is claimed to be forged from a meteorite. Named "Sunder" it was the blade of his beloved captain before banishment. He managed to recover it from bandit looters. It's density has been known to be able to crack castle walls, and shatter sword and shield alike.
Though still a brave and talented fighter, he has a somewhat misplaced fear of cats and other felines. On top of being one of the sworn enemy of the armadillos, it was said amongst themselves that Felines had demons swallow the sounds of their footsteps. Probably originated from their ability to make good assassins. That and to this day, most bandits he's run into seem to be of the feline variety.
His banishment has made him humble and more observant of his code. As a result he can often come off as cold and stern. Truth be told, his isolation has left him borderline desperate for a friendly face. but because of how cynical his people were of other races, it's still a hurdle he is willing to overcome.
He does have a weakness to soft things. His kingdom praised the rigid and firm, thinking soft equaled weakness and vulnerability. So the idea of softness is a bit of a luxury for him, if not an old taboo...

While there might be some similarities in the armor, the sword is both a different color and has hooks on the end while Garen's blade is a straight edge or has inward sweeping rings and still comes to a point.

would getting a single photo of the sword not sticking in the ground be available?

This design really reminds me of Siegfried from the Soul Calibur games; and given he's my favorite character that's FAR from an insult X3 I know this is of course designed off the Warhammer 40K series, but I'm unfamiliar with Warhammer so it doesn't resonate with me. His backstory however, despite my lack of Warhammer know-how, still filled mah brain with epicocity at how beastly and awesome it made him. X3 This is one 'dillo I'd love to not only see make a return in future pics, but also see him kickin' ass and cuddlin fluffeh stuff X3
