HI! So, this weekend was my mom and I's first Days of the Dead Atlanta!
Days of the Dead is a horror convention held in down town and this year around 1500 people came! There are vendors and celebrities and screenings and panels and a 24 hour film fest!
I competed in the costume contest with my demon makeup and [Drum Roll Please!!!] competed in the Professional category and got runner up!!! I won two shirts (A DotD shirt and a House of 1000 Corpses one), a really rad poster (Its huge and has a lot of horror movie icons on it. Going to bring it to cons to get it signed by horror movie actors!), a Misfits figuring, a super cool mask from one of the vendors (Its a skull and its red and black crackle and its got a spider on it! Its so cool. Its hanging on my door) and the most beautiful plague ever!
I started doing the makeup a little after 6am (Only took a few hours to complete, actually because I prepainted my appliance and I airbrushed the rest. Adhering and blending the appliance took the most time) and finally got it all off at 1am! I had makeup on my face for around 16 hours and the only issue was I had an edge that lifted slightly after a few hours of smiling, eating and talking.
Also, enjoy my mom! She wanted me to paint her like Captain Spaulding!

I don't think Woochie has a website and if they do I can't find it
BUT if you google "Woochie Effects" you'll come up with a lot of different websites that sell their products. Even Amazon will carry them. Places like Party City will sometimes have them in their Halloween section as well.
The face paint is Mehron's Paradise Paint which is a water activated cake makeup. (Snazaroo is slightly cheaper but comes from over seas but is almost exactly the same.) Would highly suggest Paradise Paint because it is easy to apply and it comes off perfectly (Red has a tendency to stain slightly) and it actually dries and doesn't need to be set and it doesn't crack at all. Its very breathable and moves well on mobile parts of the body. (Does slightly transfer due to friction like I had slight transfer to my shirt collar but nothing too bad.)
I personally applied the Paradise Paint with an airbrush but most people just apply it with a brush or sponge.

Just found this reply- sorry for mine being so late >.<
Thank you for letting me know! Would I need anything to keep the prosthetic (if you'd even call them that) on my face at all or does it stay there automatically? Think I may just have to buy these once I have some money in Paypal XD
