Aw man, this was a delight to listen to. I like musical pieces that gradually add new layers to them, like this one does at the beginning; it gives me better appreciation for the kind of multi-dimensional thinking that went into making the piece. And the song did a great job building up to that upbeat, triumphant melody you were going for. Lovely work, dude! ^u^
That's a great plan. There's nothing like incorporating real instruments into sampled libraries. Adds a new level of realism. I have a friend who combines her own voice with some of the choirs and it sounds fantastic. In the end though, nothing beats the real deal. You've got a wide variety of skill.
