Okay, so this is part 1 of 8 of my car 'renovations'. The Furry Convention RadFur is on this weekend and for something different I wanted to carry out my long term dream of changing the colour of my bonnet....

Yeah, that's me and Tal spray painting the primer on. It was special metal/car stuff that keeps out the rust and stuff. It actually wasn't a bad blue-grey, but that's not the colour I wanted it. This was just the undercoat.

BTW, if you ever plan on doing something like this... over-estimate the paint you might need. We bought two spray cans of primer and went through both. We bought a medium sized can of the final color, and went through it and another smaller can too. Emergency trips to the hardware store before closing aren't all that fun.
