Drakuines (Closed Species)
Hi! Thanks for stopping by. I've drawing these on paper for years. They're one of the first species I ever created.
~Biography~
-Species: Drakuine
-Genus: Ryu Equidae
-Class: Mammal
-Diet: Carnivore
-Weight: 1,800 to 2,000 pounds
-Height (quadruped): 6 feet tall
-Height (biped): 8 feet tall
-Originates: From the the western mountain and forest regions of Scotland, Wales, and Ireland.
-Lifespan: 40-50 years
A drakuine is a wingless hooved land mammal that is reptillian in appearance. Like a primate, they can walk on their hind legs, but spend most of the time on all fours. They're rumoured to be very sophisticated and intelligent creatures, but they're elusive, so no one knows for sure. All throughout history people spot them on occassion. They're usually in herds, but bachelor males are often alone. The group is often led by a dominant male and female, called the alpha pair. All drakuines mate for life and will have 2-4 offspring throughout their lifetime. Their bodies are covered in short soft fur, they have sharp fangs, and usually horns. The young are born without horns, but develope them as the get older. They do not breathe fire. They can run up to 40 MPH. So far, there are only 5 documented breeds of drakuine.
