People say Chappie wasn't good, but I liked it!
Granted I wasn't so fond of the hip-hop group's music used in the soundtrack (though after listening to them on YouTube I started warming up to them). But the implied technological singularity was really cool and was a nice break from the usual Terminator/HAL 3000/Allied Mastercomputer doom and gloom.
All in all it's a solid film and I hope it becomes a cult classic someday.
