Sorry I haven't been teasin' yer tastebuds in awhile... been feelin' under the weather here the past few days... but since it's been awhile since I've prepared any food dishes an finally felt inspired ta do so thought I'd share this lil' easy-ta-make breakfast... specially since I made it ta go through some of our leftovers b'fore they go bad...
So here is a sausage hash breakfast I made...
ingredients:
1/2 roll/package of Jimmy Dean mild sausage
4 stalks of celery
4 small red potatoes
1/2 sliced up white onion
5 slices of american cheese
seasonings:
I used a few shakes of Mrs. Dash Garlic & herb, a few shakes of Nature's Blend and a large pinch of parsley flakes but feel free ta season ta preferences.
directions:
in large skillet squeeze out the saugage and fry (this was done on medium heat) and use spatula to break down sausage as it fries.
to this add in diced up cuts of the potato, celery and onion and stir occasionally then cover with lid to let steam cook. check for tenderness of veggies then add in the american cheese, stir an cover until done (this took maybe 5mins tops but cookin' times may vary)
as sides/garnishes I jus' toasted a slice of bread, added 3 tomato slices an a few celery stalk ends fer presentation but feel free ta serve with whatever breafasty sides ya prefer
...an there ya have it... a quick, easy breakfast ya can enjoy... hope ya like it :)
