When I was about 12-14, in school I would quickly walk from class to class without any of the dawdling or socializing other students did. I also tended to dress in blue. It never formalized, but sometimes I would be referred to as a "blue streak."
My plot warning flags were immediately raised when the dust devils were described. And the slavery made me cringe. Here's hoping Path has a workable solution. And cheers to him for knocking those two thugs to where they belong.
