Actually, with the hairstyle I gave this gal, I was tempted to name her Pink... y'know, like the singer? :D
This character was really fun to figure out. I was going for a rugged, make-it-yourself with for her outfit. I definitely took inspiration from Meiji Era Japanese-styled armor and clothing. Though the Wooden armor-spikes was especially rewarding to draw and color. I looooooove drawing wood-grain textures.
Deciding what colors to use for an outfit has always been difficult to me, so I'm really thankful that this turned out as "Tough" as I was hoping for.
Also, the background was especially fun to do: based loosely on the savannah, which made it interesting to draw the mountains in the distance. Lots of blending and whatnot.
Constructive critique is definitely welcome!
