With a new proper head for WulfBane, I knew I was going to need a new mask. I was figuring I'd be doing this later but I couldn't help myself.
I did NOT make the original mask I wear as WulfBane. It was a mask I got at the AZ Renaissance Faire from a company called "Arts Myths" at www.artsmyths.com. I feel kind of bad making a copy of someone's work, so I want to make sure I give full credit for the original design.
This shows the sequence of how it came together. I've done a bit of leather working for my costumes in the past, but it has been a while. I started w/ some 2mm craft foam to figure out the size & shape for the pattern. Then I cut the leather based on the foam pattern. Next was wet forming the mask over the resin head, including the little eye hole curl as well as tooling the "seams". And finally dying & adding cosmetic rivets to match those on the original.
