A couple months ago, I had Night do a Chibi of Ruby for me, and the results were absolutely mew-tiful! She had Angel Wings and a Halo, and she was holding "Mommy's Heart" in her paws. Well, I asked if Night could make her into a Badge for me, but to remove the wings and halo, and in place of the heart, put her favorite food (which, to be honest, was just about anything, except for strawberries... lol). She absolutely LOVED cheese, though, more than anything else, so I asked if Night could tweak her so that I could have her holding her favorite food, instead of my heart, and that way, I could wear her as a Badge, to Conventions. So, it was a relatively easy edit, as it was a digital piece, and this is the result! I love it! In fact, I have changed my mind about getting Angel Ruby tattooed on me, and I'm going to have this image tattooed on me, instead. And as soon as I'm done, uploading this piece, I'll show you all, my other tattoo, that NightTwilightWolf designed for me!
My Ratties are my babies, since I am unable to have children, biologically. They aren't just pets to me... they're my children! Ruby & Suede had an effect on my heart, like none of my other rats did. They became Heart Rats. They became my heart, and when they died, it was like having my heart torn from my chest. I lost Ruby, over 2 years ago, now, and there isn't a single day that I don't think of her, and miss her. I just lost Suede on St. Patrick's Day, of this year, and I am still feeling the effects, of having my heart wrenched from my chest. Their deaths rocked me to the core, because their lives with me, had been so much more than just an owner/pet relationship. I was truly their Mommy, and they were my children. In Rat Years, Ruby lived to be well over 100 years old, and Suede lived to be 88, so he earned each and every one of his wrinkles, that he just happened to be born with, because he was a hairless. Keep an eye out for his picture, coming up next. If you don't see it, you may have to toggle your settings a little, because I wanted him to look exactly how he did, in real life. I think his, is the only picture, in my whole Gallery, that doesn't have a General rating. Thank you, again, Night, for doing such an amazing job with My Sweet Ruby!
