This request was a co-commission from myself and
sosarin given to Damien. I really wanted to help Sosarin get a piece from Damien, most especially because Sosarin had such a wonderful idea for a picture. At first I thought Damien wouldn't depict the entire idea due to how comprehensive it was, but he did so straight up, and the detail put into this picture is just plain phenomenal.
This piece shows Sosarin, a bat sorcerer who enjoys tinkering with gadgets, studying, and exploring the mysteries. The chamber he is in is a steampunk-esque observatory, which also happens to be located in a huge "OMG" gothic castle of awesome. Because, awesome reasons. Thankfully, this place isn't as dangerous as Dracula's Castle from Castlevania.
