This one been in my head for years. She's a wolverine from Anchorage, Alaska. The idea behind her is the genetic makeup of her leans more toward wolverine than human. Digitrade feet, more animal like posture, and being very tall if standing on their feet. She's actually short for her kind...and a rarity being "docile". Though despite short for her kind, she's over 7 feet tall when standing up straight.
What makes her a rarity is not only wolverine morphs are extremely a low number and only located up in the Alaska wilderness...where some nut job scientist created her kind years ago. But all of them are just as wild and dangerous as their four legged cousins. Most, just like their small cousins, will rush, attack and since large, can easily kill anything in sight. Very dangerous and are considered wild, dangerous animals to be killed on sight. Wolverines are dangerous little monsters...and the last thing anyone wanted was a larger, smarter, faster version.
Angela was found by mistake as a kit on a US military base. And their kits oddly enough are as small as their little cousins. Wasn't till later they noticed she was growing bigger than normal and seeing signs of her breast not being were they normally would that made them realize they had a morph wolverine. By this time they also realized she's blind. After a lot debate, she was kept to see if her kind could be tamed. To their surprise, as she got older, she showed signs of not only grasping things they were doing, but even attempting to speak. Also understanding basic words Through the years, they home schooled her, finding out she's very capable of being part of society.
She is currently 16 years old and recently being placed in a public school....after years of debate and local opposition scared of the idea of having a wild animal mixing with their kids. Even though she is handicap and needing a cane to help "see" what's in her path. She even required to wear "Property of the US Government" on her shirt in hopes to give people clear warning that she's not to be shot. She lives on the Military base and still being "observed" and "studied" to this day. So far, everyone who's been assigned to her have marked her as "docile" and "timid". The flower on her head was her idea, reading up somewhere that it helps to look "peaceful". Or so she gathered from the hippie movement decades ago. Either way, she have no illusions she'll be accepted and is actually scared for her life being made to go out of the safety of the lab to mix her in with the public.

I guess I said more than I wanted to. But hey, I guess I put a lot of thought in her. Think of it like the old TV show "The Munsters". Less comedy though and more drama. Those who don't remember the original premise of the show. It's about a family of Monsters trying to blend in with the general public, having normal lives. Which was the opposite of The Addams Family. Heh, I loved both of those shows.
