Well hey, there is no such thing as a better artist, at least there's that. Outclassed means, if anything, that they have more experience with music production than you, which may be the case! But you also have to understand that you are an individual, and your music is how you reflect your individuality, and THAT is what people will love about your music. It doesn't matter your class, trust me. :)
I have to say that your track here has a really distinct feeling to it. I feel this deep wonder of something, and that electronic melody was just absolutely perfect for that atmosphere. I could picture this world, seemingly empty of anyone or anything, but this heavy feeling that something big is lurking in the shadows, something that has been untouched for decades or even centuries. That's what I sense when I listen to this, and its awesome!
In fact I forgot to favorite this >w<!!

Thank you for the kind words :)
I wasn't discouraged, just blown away - I don't make enough time to follow what the rest of the community is doing. I would have never expected someone like TonyaSong could be lurking here, for instance. I'm mainly on Newgrounds, but there's a lot of bitterness there that's been a little bit infectious this past year so maybe it's time I get my furry zen on again.
At the very least the best thing that I've learned is that I can learn, which I want to think is all it takes to seize some degree of mastery/raise the 'class'. If da Vinci and Einstein felt that way, who am I to question the humanist mode? - which, of course, is ironic in that they would have said right back, "Who you are is brilliant - keep going."
