As much as this looks really cool and stylized, it's still kinda hard to see what's going on. This is probably because of a technique that is blatantly simple and every artist knows it, but most, including me, fail to realize just what it is and how using it can so greatly improve their art.
And that is using line weight.
Like, seriously, I just came across this revelation, myself, and I put it into a few pics that I haven't uploaded yet and it looks fucking amazing (not to brag, but it DID really improve my art, right then and there.) And it's stupid because I knew of this technique for ages and never really thought that I WASN'T using it in my art, but I truly wasn't. Threw it in and BAM! Yeah... "BAM." That's seriously what I did when I figured it out. BAM. >.=.>
Looking at this pic, all of the lines are one consistent thickness and that, on top of your specific style, it doesn't really let you see the picture as a whole and you have to make yourself LOOK for what's going on.
Try changing the thickness of your lines by drawing overtop of this on another layer, and set this picture's layer's transparency to, like 30% (or whatever transparency lets you see the lines you're drawing on top of this.) Concentrate on making thicker lines in areas that would likely be darker and vise versa. You don't need to do this with pen pressure alone; use your artistic style and figure out how YOU wanna do it, but I'm tellin you man, it works wonders on a pic to clean it up and make it look awesome.
Oh, and if you don't have a tablet, then try using this technique in future drawings. Doing lineart in photoshop with a mouse is like clamping your balls in a set of vicegrips and then walking around in tight underwear for a day. Not good, not good...
