Me being myself in the fandom mostly.
Sometimes I feel really unwelcomed.
Sometimes I feel really old because I've never felt more surrounded by children and moody teenagers than I have here. This fandom takes the cake over every single last fandom I have ever been in.
Sometimes I get freaked out by how hyper-oversexed people interact with one another.
Sometimes it makes me sad to see so much destructive/abusive behavior.
I cannot understand how it's seen as okay to have such a nasty attitude sometimes, like it's encouraged.
People have told me to get out or get over myself.
If I can't interact or socialize in a fandom, I don't see the purpose of staying.
Sometimes I want to pack up my art and my fursona then just disappear. That this place is not for me.
Most recommended solution: No socializing. No interacting. Enjoy it from a distance. Don't actually be in the fandom. Don't be a furry.
Why bother then?

I'm very sorry you have that experience sweetie, I have had pretty trying experiences on FA but haven't been active in it for a while properly so am not sure how it is anymore. Well you has me I like you :o Although I have adult work I'm not all about that and I'm sorry most you know act like children and so on.
I love the creativity and fun that can be had when things are going great! I do sometimes feel there's pseudo-inclusive feeling in fandom. That having strange fetishes and mental disabilities are okay. But it also okays some destructive behavior and demonizes anyone who dares to point it out or seem 'too conservative'. - w-

oh my, I am so sorry that you have had such bad experiences hun. I can really see where you are coming from, I can see majority of those points daily on this site, and sl.
I think you need to find the people who arnt so dramatic, and trust me, i know thats hard! Hence why I don't socialise much either. Though that way drama never touches me <3
I hope you can find people who are of equal mind and not so immature. You always have me to chat too :) And im getting on sl alot more recently! We need to arrange a meet up and get me in that club of yours for a nose around :)

Yes, it's also another reason I did a spring clean up on my watches. Some things, I just cannot abide by as a person.

Ah! Yes we do! Also, my club is temporarily closed, but I do have quite a few places I'd like to show you! Did you know that SL has a free sponsored program for creators (or creative individuals) to have a sim or parcel to create/build something every 30 - 40 days? It can be a build displaying artwork like a gallery or in a really themed sort of way. It could be a story told through interaction with objects and things, while exploring! It could be a wide space to just look at pretty builds and strange landscapes. It can also sometimes be a 1 to 1 replica of a real or fantasy place! They're called LEAS and I love to take people to those. :D

I understand you, I sometimes feel old too and I always find it strange when children are on internet, like I hadn't access to the internet until I was 15 haha

Yeah, even now I tend to monitor my child very closely. But it's not that they're actually children. It's more that there are people who are adults behaving like children and teenagers.
