Raised in a orphanage, she lived a modest and moderate life without too much trouble within a good environment and caretakers until she went to high school. She became an outcast, tormented and harassed by popular girls, and took interests in the punk/goth subgroup; doing all the normal activities such as drinking dark coffee while reciting poorly written poetry and hanging out in alleys. It was until at a Halloween party that she fell victim to a prank gone wrong, resulting in her death after being crushed by a gravestone marker in an open grave. (Un)Fortunately, Victor had been scourging the graveyard for experimentation and fresh subjects, and sensing her anguished soul he waited till the screaming died-down before he crept over and trapped her spirit into a container (a jewel). After a few years of experimenting, modifying, and harvesting in preparation for her resurrection ritual, Victor managed (with great effort) to tether her soul into her decayed body and bound her to his service. Suffice it to say, she was initially distraught at the thought of being undead.
With the thought of revenge, she promised to serve Victor faithful so long as he assisted her vendetta and be given a new, mortal body afterwards. Using Jaye's 'powers of negotiation,' they drew a contract but not without a few hidden loopholes for the benefit of Victor and Jaye's amusement (thus sparking Jenny's hatred for her). She also had her mental state as well as spiritual were altered for further manipulation, Jenny blaming Jaye for this while not aware of Victor's hand in it. Regardless, she gave up the living world for now, exploring her new life as a revenant and letting herself be the person she was at last.
