Sundaki Hoppinfoot was the Froglok cleric I played in Everquest from 2005 to 2007. They (I identified Sun as a 'he' even though technically they were a 'she' since white froglok's with black striping were females-I was bending my gender even then lol) were my first 'sona and were (and still are in a way) a very meaningful part of my life. If there had been no Sun there would be no Zid.

I wasn't much good with high level stuff (though I could hold my own and did a decent enough job healing when we'd hang out with high level friends) but to noobs and mid-level players I was a welcome companion. I loved sitting back and chatting while helping them level up. It was so much fun helping people learn the ropes. I rarely get to feel like I know wtf I'm talking about so it was a huge ego boost. I'd sit around the Plane of Knowledge and buff people for free and became very popular.
Then EQ began to introduce gameplay mechanics that made the stuff I enjoyed doing for and with others unnecessary. It was sad leaving that character behind but because of it I ended up with Zid and he's been pretty good to me so far. What's funny is I'm doing the same sort of healing and teaching now only in real life through the wisdom and laughter I impart via my art and poetry.
Sundaki is still very much a part of who I am.
